CIBOOK publishes its core operating commitments so that participants, institutions, funders, and the public can understand its non-commercial purpose and long-term responsibilities.

CIBOOK is currently supported through founder-funded operations and is pursuing philanthropic and institutional support for its cultural, preservation, and custodial requirements.

DECA MEDIA LLC operates CIBOOK during its pre-2030 development phase. DECA’s role includes operational coordination, participant administration, preservation planning, and the development of CIBOOK’s governance and continuity structure.

CIBOOK does not sell participation, participant contributions, advertising, merchandise, or access to sealed content. CIBOOK channels do not generate revenue through advertising or revenue sharing.

No CIBOOK funds may be used to support DECA MEDIA’s separate commercial activity. Any future relationship between CIBOOK and DECA MEDIA must be documented, mission-aligned, transparently disclosed where appropriate, and subject to applicable nonprofit or fiscal-sponsorship requirements.

CIBOOK may acknowledge philanthropic or institutional supporters. Recognition does not imply participant endorsement, and participant names or images are not used in sponsor advertising.

Formal Commitments

Sealed Content
Participant contributions are not publicly released, editorially rewritten, or made available for viewing before 2130. CIBOOK uses restricted procedures for handling that is necessary for production, preservation, legal compliance, or continuity.

Participant Ownership
Participants retain copyright and intellectual property rights in their contributions. CIBOOK receives a limited, royalty-free license only for the non-commercial cultural purpose of preserving, producing, and stewarding the archive.

Withdrawal Before Burial
Participants may withdraw before final production and burial in accordance with their participation agreement. CIBOOK will stop future use of the contribution and follow its documented return, deletion, preservation-record, and legal-compliance procedures.

Custody and Continuity
DECA MEDIA provides interim stewardship before burial. CIBOOK is being developed with written succession, preservation, and institutional-custody arrangements intended to protect the Master Volume and the project’s mission over time.

Data Protection
CIBOOK handles participant information only for its cultural mission, operations, preservation, and legal obligations. Participant data is not sold or used for unrelated commercial activity.

Neutrality
CIBOOK does not endorse a participant’s views, affiliations, politics, or beliefs. Participation records a contribution to the archive; it does not constitute endorsement or affiliation.
