About CIBOOK
CIBOOK is built on one principle: what is sealed stays sealed. What is preserved is preserved completely.
CIBOOK is a long-term cultural archive created to preserve sealed contributions from selected individuals whose work has lasting impact across fields and regions of the world.
Participation is capped at 1,000 individuals worldwide across ten defined fields. Each field carries a permanent capacity limit. When full, it closes permanently.
Each participant submits two items: one sealed written prediction and one portrait. Both are preserved intact, unedited, and completely inaccessible until 2130, released without revision and without editorial intervention of any kind.
"CIBOOK preserves how selected individuals understood their world while living within it."
CIBOOK is not trying to predict the future. It is trying to preserve the present, exactly as the people who shaped it saw it and understood it. That record, sealed for a century, will be among the most significant cultural documents ever assembled.
It is not a publication. Not a platform. It is a permanent historical record, sealed under formal custody, governed by written agreement, and designed to remain intact for one century before any part of it reaches the world.
The archive is a single archival-grade volume, one permanent, sealed object, buried in New York City in 2030 and held in institutional custody by a recognized cultural institution. The archive remains sealed and inaccessible until 2130.
CIBOOK is non-commercial. DECA MEDIA operates CIBOOK and maintains digital custody of contributions until burial in 2030. Burial custody is contractually entrusted to a recognized cultural institution. Each participant retains full intellectual property rights under formal written agreement.
